Welcome to Go & Tell (the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“ToS”). If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Website, you agree to these ToS and any additional policies or guidelines referenced here, including our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users, whether individuals or organizations.
2. User Accounts and Registration
- Account Types: We offer two account types:
- Users: Can browse and apply for mission trips.
- Organizations: Can browse, apply for, and post mission trips. (Organization accounts must be manually approved by a site administrator)
- Registration: To access certain features, you must register with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure.
- Security: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not responsible for losses due to your failure to protect your account.
3. Mission Posting and Application Process
Mission Posting Eligibility
Go & Tell is a Christian organization committed to upholding the principles of Christianity as instituted by Jesus Christ, documented in the Bible and affirmed by the Nicene Creed. In accordance with our religious beliefs and mission, only organizations that affirm and adhere to the Nicene Creed are eligible to post mission opportunities on our website. By posting a mission, you represent and warrant that your organization upholds the Nicene Creed. Go & Tell reserves the right to review, approve, or remove any mission postings that do not comply with this requirement, in accordance with our religious principles and applicable laws.
- Posting Missions: Only Organization accounts can post mission trips. Posts must be truthful, lawful, and follow our guidelines.
- Applying: All users can apply for missions with honest and complete applications.
- Content Removal: We may remove any mission or application that violates these ToS or is deemed inappropriate.
4. User Conduct and Content
- Acceptable Use: Use the Website legally and respectfully.
- Prohibited Actions: You may not:
- Share false or misleading information.
- Harass, discriminate, or use offensive language.
- Impersonate others or send spam/viruses.
- Content Rules: All posts (e.g., mission descriptions) must be respectful and appropriate.
5. Intellectual Property
- Your Content: You own what you post but grant us a free license to use and display it on the Website.
- Our Content: Website content (except user posts) belongs to Go & Tell or its licensors and is protected by law.
6. Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy governs how we handle your data. By using the Website, you agree to its terms.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
- As-Is Service: The Website is provided without guarantees about accuracy or reliability.
- Limited Liability: We aren’t responsible for damages from your use of the site, including issues with mission trips or user content.
- Platform Role: We connect users and organizations but don’t guarantee mission quality or safety.
8. Termination and Suspension
We can suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these ToS or harm the Website or its users.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these ToS. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the updates.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These ToS follow the laws of the State of Missouri. Disputes will be handled via arbitration in Missouri.
